Jam with agostina apple
This jam made from Agostina apple contains the taste, fragrance, sweetness and authenticity of a unique land: the “Alto Ionio Cosentino”, in northen Calabria.
The Agostina apple grows on the slopes of the mountains in the Pollino National Park. This is an endangered apple variety which, despite many attempts to make it grow in other areas of Calabria, grows exclusively in Oriolo, in the province of Cosenza.
The scent of this jam, its above-average nutritional values and its healthiness make it a 100% gastronomic excellence.
Excellent if used to make sweets and cakes, especially when combined with chocolate or ricotta cheese. Try it with cheeses such as pecorino, caciocavallo cheese, parmesan cheese, Grana cheese or even fresh ricotta.
